On Thursday 15th October from 20.00 to 22.00 AEDT (which is 19.00 to 21.00 AEST, 10.00 to 12.00 BST; 05.00 to 06.00 EDT) join us for a wonderful opportunity to explore, with four thought leaders in the area of Values-based leadership, how to bring values to life in organisations and systems.

Format

The format will include a dialogue between our four panellists, followed by facilitated breakout groups to dive deep into the topics discussed in the first half. Our intent is to co-create best practice ideas for working with values in organisations. No matter what level you are on in your values-based leadership journey, this session will be filled with practical insights to help you and your organisation to put its values into action.

Panelists

Mary C. Gentile, PhD, is Creator/Director of Giving Voice to Values, Professor of Practice at University of Virginia Darden School of Business, Senior Advisor at Aspen Institute Business & Society Program, and consultant on management education and leadership development. Giving Voice To Values is a pioneering and award-winning curriculum for values-driven leadership with over 1,200 pilots globally.

Neil Hawkes is a pioneer in Values-based Education (VbE) and is the founder of the IVET Foundation. He is an educational leader and thinker who shows how to take the lid off pupil’s potential, by creating a culture in which both children and adults thrive. Today Neil’s philosophy is known as Values-based Education, which has been recognised internationally as the foundation of outstanding school practice.

Peter L. Wiltshire is an ethicist and has had a long professional career in Education specializing in ethics and the phenomenology of spiritual experience and religious traditions. His current interest is the development of the whole person and the building of leadership character. His research and work has focused on bringing values into action.

Kavi Arasu specialises in organisational and individual change. He works with organisations across the board, in institutionalising people change and culture.  Values have been an important part of his work by default or by design. This has ranged from defining and socialising values in organisations to keeping values as a foundation for change.

Stephen Berkeley is a Change and Culture Facilitator and the Director of Global Business for Flyntrok Consulting.
