On Thursday 11th October 2018 from 7.00pm to 8.45pm at Global Co-operation House, 65- 69 Pound Lane, London NW10 2HH, the UK Values Alliance and the Brahma Kumaris are jointly holding a Dialogue for World Values Day which addresses a crucial issue to all of us: what is happening to the communities in which we spend our lives and bring up our children?
We are calling it: A Sense of Belonging, Sharing Our Values, Creating Communities.
Communities lie at the heart of society. We all want to feel we belong. We all want to live in peace and harmony. But things seem to be going wrong. Many communities are feeling fragile, insecure and uncertain about the future. The result? Fear and alienation.
How can we restore a sense of hope, purpose and togetherness?Join us for an interactive evening in which we will explore the importance and power of values in re-empowering and re-energising our communities.
A panel of three speakers will each make their own contributions to the dialogue from differing perspectives and will interact with attendees in exploring these issues and possible ways to address them.
There is no charge for attending the event. However, contributions towards costs are welcomed.
