On 21st October at 00.30 BST (UTC/GMT+1) which is 7.30 pm EDT or 6.30 pm CDT on October 20th in the US, join Angie Chaplin for an hour on Zoom as she shares her story of losing herself in active addiction and finding her way back in recovery through values.
Personal values are the fundamental truths and beliefs at the core of who we are. As guiding principles, our values are an internal compass that points us toward positive, healthy, and aligned behaviors. By living into values, we align our actions to demonstrate what matters most, such as practicing kindness, being honest, or expressing gratitude.
Drawing from her own experiences in overcoming severe alcohol use disorder, speaker Angie Chaplin shows how active addiction took her away from her values and led to choices that nearly took her life. During this special #WorldValuesDay2022 event, Angie will share her story and show how we can all learn important lessons from it.
