On 21st October from 12.30 to 13.45 BST which is 17.00 to 18.15 Indian Standard Time, join an event for teachers organised by Val-Ed Initiatives.
If we were to ask you to think of a COVID warrior, which of them would be the first to pop-up in your mind?
Doctors, Nurses, Police, etc? Absolutely!
However, we have a huge group of unsung heroes who have also
faced a myriad of challenges and have contributed immensely to support both students and their parents during this crisis.
Since the pandemic struck, teachers have silently overcome many such challenges, thinking on their feet and with little time to adapt, holding our education system together with innovation and sheer resilience.
This World Values Day, join us for an enriching, informative and reflective event, ‘We VALUE You’, with some special heroes and warriors of today. This event provides us with an opportunity to contemplate on our most deeply held values and focus on reconnecting with others around us on some shared values.
The event also throws light on understanding the importance of putting values into action and its impact on wellbeing. We also have some interesting conversations lined up with our special guests as a part of a panel discussion.
Another segment of the event is the ‘The Values Award Ceremony‘, where we will felicitate some brave hearts and share their impactful stories that have made a difference in the lives of people around them with some specific values. These individuals will be recognised on the basis of how closely they’re associated with any of the values and life skills mentioned below:
- Resilience – mental and emotional
- Growth Mindset – including open-mindedness, adaptability and creativity
- Compassion – including empathy and kindness
- Unity – including cooperation, teamwork and collaboration
