What’s important to you as a community group?

Values are the things that are important to us as individuals and when we are members of groups – such as local clubs, youth groups, women’s groups, sports clubs, volunteer groups and so on. World Values Day challenges us to think about our own values and the values held by the groups we belong to, and encourages us to act on those values. By putting those values into action each and every day, we can change ourselves, strengthen our groups, and ultimately change our communities and the world we live in for the better.

However, not all groups have official values yet. How do we go about identifying them? The Values Guide for Community Groups provides a method that involves everyone in helping identify its most important values.
