FLORENCE PAROT works with stress, sleep and burnout management. She lectures in many Sophrology schools around Europe and writes books & articles on applied Sophrology. Florence runs a retreat centre dedicated to burnout prevention and management in the heart of the French countryside. SARAH PENGELLY led the development of The Big Think, an innovative values-based learning programme for children aged 4 to 11, developed by the Human Values Foundation. Sarah taught in London Primary schools for 12 years, studied for MA Educational Psychotherapy and previously worked at BBC Creative Services. Sarah believes that primary school teachers and children are desperate for change in education policy, with a shift in focus towards the development of the whole child, rather than on test results, and hopes The Big Think can play a big role in this change.

MATTHEW PYE has been a teacher for over 20 years, first in the UK, then Germany and now for 14 years in Brussels. For over a decade, he has worked with leading scientists in sustainability, with a focus on climate change. Most notably, in collaboration with Michael Wadleigh (Oscar Winner, dir. ‘Woodstock’ (1970) and Birgit van Munster (IPPC Expert Reviewer) he established the Climate Academy in 2011. This innovative work to hothouse gifted and talented students in the science and social realities of climate change was recognized by the offer of Full Membership to the Club of Rome (EU Chapter) in 2016.

MIKE SAVAGE, a Rotarian since 2005, is well-known within the Tauranga community. He works as Celebrant and Funeral Director by profession and is known for his warmth and compassion in that role. MOEMA VIEZZER from Brazil, is a sociologist (M.A.) and popular educator internationally known for her engagement with social issues, particularly within the feminist and environmental movements. She is the author of various publications. The first one “Let me speak…” an oral history based on Domitila`s testimony – was translated into 14 languages. Her last publication is about “Abya Yala” – Genocide-resistance-survival of more than 70million people from the First Nation in the Americas. Moema is also committed with dissemination of the Earth Charter since 1992.
