DR PAQUITA DE ZULUETA chairs the Human Values in Healthcare Forum. She worked for 38 years as an inner-city GP with a special interest in mental health, migrant and refugee health, professional education, clinical ethics, and compassion in healthcare. She has also practised as a psychotherapist, as a fully qualified coach, and as mentor/coach for GPs, hospital doctors on the frontline and others She is honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London, a Schwartz Round facilitator for Imperial College NHS Trust and the Medical School, a trustee of the Institute of Medical Ethics and a member of the Royal College of GPs’ ethics committee.
