SASHA STEVENSON leads Section27, a South African human rights organisation that uses the Constitution and the law to realise the rights to health and education and catalyse social justice. She also practises as an attorney and represented families bereaved by the Life Esidimeni disaster, including attempts to prevent the moves of mental health care users into unprepared facilities, at the Life Esidimeni Arbitration, and at the Inquest.
