Values provide the glue that can bind us together as citizens of the world. They can help us join together to face challenges, navigate change in the current dangerous global permacrisis, and resist the powerful negative forces that draw us apart.

At this interactive session we will identify a value that we feel is most needed in the world today to address the chaos and disorder that we see around us.

We will consider how this value is meaningful to us personally, and why it is so crucially important to the world.

We will then discuss and agree a single thing that we could all do better, stop doing, or change, to really bring this value to life every day.

Finally we will make a plan to carry out that action or change, so we bring that value to life in the world.

This is one of two similar sessions taking place at different times on 1st October to launch the Valuesthon programme of online events which are being held before and on World Values Day. The first session is at 8am BST (UTC/GMT+1) and the second at 5pm BST (UTC/GMT+1)

These events are organised and facilitated by the World Values Day team, and is based on the three Values Challenge programmes (for Organisations, Community Groups and Schools) that were put together and launched by the UK Values Alliance, PWC, The Royal Society for Arts, and The Forward Institute in 2017, and which since then have been downloaded used with outstanding success by World Values Day supporters every year since then. If you are interested in these programmes , you can read more about them and download them from here
