JENNIFER NADEL is CEO of Compassion in Politics, which works on a cross party basis to bring the science and value of compassion into politics and public life. CiP advocates for greater honesty, inclusion, equity and intergenerational fairness. Its campaign helped secure a change in Welsh law making deliberate political deception an offence. An author, award-winning journalist and qualified barrister, she is also Director of Compassionate Politics at CCARE, Stanford University.
