PROFESSOR DR SOMA BANDYOPADHYAY is an author, translator and polyglot is recipient of various prestigious awards including Sahitya Akademi award Meera Smriti Samman (Prayag), Aparajita Best Educationist Award, Raajbhasha Gaurav award ( MHRD), Bharat Gaurav Award (Sneha Foundation). Member of several academic and cultural bodies. Presently is the Vice Chancellor of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, Kolkata.
