The Values in Healthcare educational programme, supports practitioner well-being through personal and team development.

The programme is delivered via a pack of materials which introduce values such as resilience, compassion, co-operation, peacefulness, positivity and self-care, and encourage participants to explore using them in their personal and professional practice.

Through experiential exercises and opportunities for reflection and self-enquiry participants can identify their own core values and discover how their insights can enhance and revitalise their work.

The programme, first published in 2004 by The Janki Foundation for Spirituality in Healthcare, has been translated into several languages and is in use in more than 30 countries.

Participants report a renewed sense of purpose, reduced risk of exhaustion and burnout, and improved patient care.
