Schools from across Bengaluru, India will come together to celebrate World Values Day with a Unique Event “The Great Values Olympics” – it will be linked to a “Values in Harmony Fest”.

Our old friends and supporters, Val-Ed Initiatives, a leading organization dedicated to promoting values-based education throughout India, have just announced this exciting initiative to celebrate World Values Day. It will bring schools and families across the great city of Bengaluru together like never before.

A Unique Gathering of Schools

What makes this event truly exceptional is that it’s a gathering of different schools, families and communities from across Bengaluru, joining together in a “Values Olympics”, to celebrate the shared values that unite us all. Each school will be represented by the students and their families, in various values-based games and activities during this event.

Event Highlights:

  • Date: October 15th
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM, IST
  • Location: Carmel High School, Bengaluru, India

The “Values in Harmony Fest” promises a day filled with exciting competitions, art performances, food stalls, and more. It’s a celebration that showcases how values can bring students, families, schools and communities together.

Join Us to Celebrate Shared Values

This World Values Day, let’s come together as schools and families to celebrate our shared values. It’s a unique opportunity for students, families, and educators to bond and contribute to a more united and harmonious world by celebrating the values that connect us. Moreover, this event aligns perfectly with the themes of this year’s G20 summit in India, “Vasudeva Kutumbakam”, highlighting the global importance of values and values-based action.

Vasudeva Kutumbakam is a Sanskrit phrase found in ancient texts such as the Maha Upanishad, which means “The World Is One Family”.
